It is extremely rare for a terrain to be perfectly level. For this reason, the tiller is equipped with a tilt device that can easily compensate for a lateral slope of up to about 15 degrees. The excavated soil is ejected either to the left or to the right. It goes without saying that the trenchers’ control platform can be swiveled. Conveniently, the conveyor belt can be mounted on both sides. This allows the excavated material to be removed directly.
After milling, the extra backfill hopper is used to fill the excavated trench with gravel – in just a single work step.
The GM 1 all-wheel trenchers also enable, with the help of additional accessories, immediate cable shaft, cable and pipe pulling after the trench has been excavated. There is also the possibility to equip all four-wheel trenchers with twin tires.
